Welcome to Reynolds
Psychiatry

Hi, I’m Laura Reynolds, MD, MPH.

I’m an integrative psychiatrist who believes that true healing happens when we treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

I started my career in high-volume community clinics and residential treatment centers, working with patients facing immense challenges. Over time, I realized that traditional psychiatry—focused mostly on diagnosis and medication—wasn’t enough. I wanted to offer more.

My own curiosity about wellness, coupled with the lived experience of being a mom (to five kids, one with special needs), led me to integrative psychiatry. Now, I help patients slow down, tune in, and find a path forward that feels authentic and sustainable. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, trauma, hormonal changes, or life transitions, my approach is relational, evidence-based, and deeply personalized to you.

My Specialties

Adolescent & Adult Mental Health

Parents, Caregivers & Families

Are you burnt out from juggling your child’s appointments, school meetings, and emotional needs—while putting yourself last? Do you wonder if it’s okay to admit you’re struggling?

You’re not alone, and you don’t have to do this alone. As both a psychiatrist and a parent of a child with special needs, I understand how heavy it can feel. I help parents find clarity, support, and strength—so they can show up for their families and themselves.

Young Adults in Transition
Are you unsure about your path, questioning every decision, and overwhelmed by what the future holds? Maybe you're starting college, navigating adult life, or feeling stuck somewhere in between. I support young adults in building resilience, managing stress, and discovering what makes them feel grounded and empowered—with a mix of therapy, coaching, and personalized strategies that go deeper than surface-level advice.

Anxiety & OCD
Do you feel like your mind won’t stop spinning? Like you’re constantly stuck in a loop of intrusive thoughts, worst-case scenarios, or fear of messing up? Do you find yourself avoiding situations or rituals just to get through the day? You may be managing—but it’s exhausting.

I help children, teens, and adults quiet the mental noise and reclaim their calm with a combination of therapy, medication (when needed), and integrative tools that address the nervous system, lifestyle, and core beliefs.

ADHD

Do you struggle to stay focused, forget things often, or feel like you’re always falling behind? Maybe you’ve been told you're “too much” or “not living up to your potential.”

I work with kids, teens, and adults to strengthen executive function, reduce emotional overwhelm, and build systems that work with your brain—not against it. Through compassionate coaching, lifestyle strategies, and medication when appropriate, we’ll create a plan that supports your goals and your self-esteem.

Depression & Trauma
Do you feel like you’re just going through the motions—or barely making it through at all? Maybe you're carrying trauma that still echoes in your day-to-day life, or you feel disconnected from yourself and others. You’re not broken. There’s a path to healing. I use a trauma-informed, whole-person approach that combines evidence-based therapies, nervous system support, nutritional and lifestyle guidance, and medication when needed to help you feel more grounded, connected, and hopeful.

Women's Mental Health

PMDD, Perimenopause & Hormonal Mood Disorders

Do you dread the two weeks before your period? Feel like a different person—more irritable, anxious, or deeply down—and wonder why you can’t just “push through”? Or maybe you’re in perimenopause and the mood swings, fatigue, or low libido have left you feeling like a stranger in your own body.

Hormones do impact mental health, and there are real, effective ways to find relief. I offer compassionate support and treatment options that go beyond “just take the pill”—including lifestyle shifts, supplements, lab testing, and medication when appropriate.

Parents of Children with Disabilities

Caring for a child with disabilities often means carrying an invisible emotional load—grief, guilt, fierce love, and exhaustion all at once. As both a psychiatrist and a parent of a child with special needs, I understand how isolating and overwhelming it can feel. I work with parents to process the complex emotions that come with this journey, strengthen their coping tools, and reconnect with their own needs without guilt.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered—not just as a caregiver, but as a whole person.
